After reading reviews on all the different brands of stocks, I though I knew what to expect. This stock set has *NO ISSUES.* No sharp flash, the mold lines are smooth. There are no cracks or dents around the sling attachment loop. The butt plate matches up perfectly, with no gaps or sharp edges. The storage compartment door fits perfectly flush, and the checkering even matches up. The stock screw does not come installed, so no removal problems. The stock screw is Allen head, not slotted, so while not clone correct, it is an improvement, and comes with it's wrench. The drain/vent hole is larger than before. The buffer tube has an almost mirror polish inside, no milling marks, so no scraping spring noise. The spacer plug did rattle when installed, but that was easily solved with a cardboard shim made from cereal box. There is a shine that shows up when the light hits the stock just right, due to a difference in the orientation of the reinforcing fiber matrix. There is no actual line or depression, so it doesn't bother me. The stock has a fine finish, and is black, matching my handguards. Of all the different fixed stocks available, I would say this is the best one. The UTG PRO brand is made in America, and I would buy another in a heartbeat, if I needed one.
