TriStar Viper G2 Compact 20 GA 24" 5rd Walnut Shotgun

The TriStar Viper G2 Compact in 20 gauge is a gas operated semi auto with a walnut stock and forend, a 13" length of pull and a 24" vent rib barrel. It has a 3" chamber and a 5rd magazine, with blued metal and a matted sight plane on the rib. The shorter stock fits younger hunters, smaller framed adults and anyone who shoots in a heavy coat.

The gas action spreads out the recoil of a 20 gauge, which matters for a new shooter learning to keep both eyes open and follow through. The system runs light target loads and heavier field loads without adjustment. A manual E-Z load magazine cut-off lets you clear the chamber while the magazine stays loaded, which is handy crossing fences. Three Beretta/Benelli Mobil style chokes come with the gun (improved cylinder, modified and full) along with a choke case, wrench and a shot plug. The chamber and bore are chrome lined, a fiber optic front sight gives a quick aiming point, and a rubber recoil pad and shim kit let you tune the fit. At about 5.7 lbs it is easy to carry on a dove field or a rabbit hunt.
