Trijicon VCOG 1-8x28mm MRAD Circle Reticle FDE Riflescope

The Trijicon VCOG is a 1-8x28mm variable power riflescope. Set it to 1x and it runs like a red dot for close work with both eyes open. Wind it up to 8x and the MRAD circle reticle gives you holdover and ranging references for shots past the point where a dot stops being useful. The FDE finish is a change from the standard black optic on a flat top rifle.

The reticle illuminates red, which keeps the aiming point readable against dark targets and in poor light. A 28mm objective holds the front end down to a size that still balances on a carbine, and eight power at the top end covers identification and precise shot placement well past what a non magnified sight can do. The MRAD circle handles both jobs from one sight picture, so there is nothing to switch between when the distance changes.
