The Trijicon 1-8x28 VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a rugged, first focal plane riflescope designed for CQB and long-range marksmanship, built with a forged aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum housing for near-indestructible performance and featuring superior glass for exceptional clarity and color with zero distortion. The universal segmented circle/MRAD crosshair dot reticle is engineered for multi-platform use across calibers and barrel lengths, and its first focal plane design keeps subtensions and drops accurate at any magnification, enabling quick, precise holds. Powered by a lithium AA battery (provided), the illuminated red MRAD crosshair/dot reticle offers 11 user-selectable brightness settings, including two night vision and one super-bright setting, with ruggedized electronics that endure demanding conditions and a near-constant eye relief that minimizes head or stock position changes. Water resistance to 20 meters adds field reliability, while the integrated dial fin allows effortless magnification changes from 1x to 8x. The Trijicon VCOG Mount with Q-LOC technology employs a Mil-Spec 6061-T6 aluminum design and a spring-loaded, tool-less mounting system that maintains zero even if knobs loosen, delivering a low-profile, return-to-zero performance compatible with any Mil-Spec or NATO Picatinny rail, all in a matte black, USA-made package.
