Trailblazer LifeCard 22 WMR Stormtrooper White Pistol

The LifeCard is Trailblazer's answer to a question most gun makers never asked: what does a firearm look like when it has to disappear? Folded, it collapses into a flat rectangle with the barrel and the grip stacked against each other and nothing sticking out to catch on a pocket seam. Unfolded, the grip swings down and locks, the trigger presents itself, and what was a flat slab becomes a single shot pistol chambered in 22 WMR.

This one wears a Stormtrooper White finish, a long way from the black and stainless that pocket guns normally come in. The chambering is 22 WMR, a rimfire magnum that pushes a lighter bullet considerably faster than 22 LR does. Single shot keeps the manual of arms short: unfold, load, fire, unload. There is no magazine to lose track of, no slide to run, and very little on the outside of the gun that can snag. It gets carried as a backup, tucked into a hiking kit or a tackle box, and for plenty of owners it is simply the most interesting thing in the safe. Handling one explains the appeal faster than any spec sheet does.
