Traditions Outfitter G3 357 Mag 22" Rifle

A 357 Magnum out of a 22" rifle barrel is a different animal from the same round in a revolver, and the Traditions Outfitter G3 makes the most of it. This break action, single shot cartridge rifle is built for whitetail and other game at sensible ranges, and it will also shoot 38 Special for cheap, quiet practice and small game. The 22" Lothar Walther chromoly barrel is fluted, which helps keep the rifle at about 5.8 lbs.

The Elite XT trigger system uses a rebounding hammer and a manual cross block safety. The action can be opened with the safety engaged, so you can load, unload and check the chamber without ever taking the gun off safe. The rifle has no iron sights. The black synthetic stock has a recoil pad and swivel studs for a sling. For hunters in states that allow pistol caliber or straight wall cartridges, check your local regulations, then enjoy a light, quiet shooting rifle that new and young hunters handle well. It also makes a handy companion rifle for anyone who already owns a 357 revolver and wants one box of ammunition for both.
