Traditions NitroBolt 50 Cal 24" Tungsten Muzzleloader

The Traditions NitroBolt is the first bolt action built for the Federal Premium Firestick, and it handles more like a modern hunting rifle than a traditional muzzleloader. Three locking lugs, a 60 degree bolt handle, a cocking indicator and a three position safety make it feel familiar to anyone raised on a deer rifle. A patented extractor pulls the spent Firestick from the chamber.

The 24" chromoly barrel is fluted, tapered and free floating, with VAPR fast twist rifling and a Tungsten Cerakote finish, and the muzzle is threaded 3/4-24 for a brake. It sits in a pillar bedded black synthetic stock that adjusts for length of pull and cheek height. Loading is the Firestick routine: seat the bullet from the muzzle, slide the sealed charge of powder into the breech, add a 209 shotgun primer and close the bolt. The sealed charge does not care about rain. The rifle has no sights and is drilled and tapped for a scope. For a hunter who wants muzzleloader season with bolt gun handling, the NitroBolt is the one to look at.
