Tokarev USA TSA-12 12 GA 18.5" 4rd Shotgun

The TSA-12 is Tokarev USA's take on a defensive 12 gauge autoloader, and the charging system is the reason to pick one up. Instead of a conventional bolt handle, the buttstock and pistol grip slide rearward to cycle the action by hand. Pull the stock back and the bolt runs, which makes clearing a hull or chambering the first round a natural motion with the gun still shouldered. Under normal use a gas regulated piston runs the gun in semi auto for follow up shots. The 18.5" barrel carries a ventilated heat shield and a fiber optic front sight, with a ghost ring rear riding on the receiver rail.

The aluminum receiver is anodized, drilled and tapped, and comes with a Picatinny section, so a red dot mounts without a trip to a gunsmith. The tube holds 4rd and the chamber is cut for 3" shells, so buckshot, slugs, and heavy magnum loads are all on the menu. An M-LOK compatible forend takes a light or a sling mount, and the choke threads accept Benelli Mobil tubes, which means replacement chokes are easy to find. Furniture is black synthetic. It is a straightforward fighting shotgun with an unusual manual of arms that pays off in tight quarters, where working a conventional charging handle costs you a hand on the gun.
