About the Timney Alpha Competition Trigger
The Alpha Competition is Timney's answer for shooters who want a lighter Glock trigger without giving up the way the gun runs. Factory pull weight is 3 pounds. Timney kept the Glock fire control layout and improved the trigger itself rather than replacing the system around it.
The trigger bar and sear are coated in NP3, a Teflon nickel coating that slicks up the surfaces that rub. This version is cut for large frame Glock Gen 3 and Gen 4 pistols in 10mm and 45 ACP.
