Two pins, two detents and two springs, machined from aluminum and anodized purple. The heads are knurled, which is the part that actually matters day to day: you can start a tight pin with a thumbnail instead of hunting for a punch every time you pull the upper off. Dimensions follow the mil spec pattern, so a standard lower takes them as they come.

Because the detents and springs are in the package, you are not reusing the tired ones that came out, which is usually where a sloppy takedown pin comes from in the first place. The purple is anodized into the aluminum rather than sprayed on top, so scuffs from a cleaning rod or a range bag do not take the color with them.
