Purple anodizing is not for everyone, which is exactly why Timber Creek offers it. Under the color is a serious part: an oversized trigger guard machined from aluminum, skeletonized to keep weight off the lower, and shaped to close the gap between the guard and the grip.

The larger opening gives a gloved finger somewhere to go and removes the pinch point a standard guard creates at the back of the trigger well.
