The Thompson TAO50 is a dedicated bolt action 50 BMG rifle built around a 29" barrel and a 10rd detachable magazine. The receiver wears a flat dark earth anodized finish with a full length Picatinny rail up top, giving the FDE metalwork a clean contrast against the black barrel and furniture. At this bore size, barrel length is what buys velocity, and 29" of it puts the big cartridge to work at distances where most centerfire rifles have already gone subsonic.
The support equipment comes in the box rather than on a wish list.
