Taurus Raging Hunter 350 Legend 10.5" 6rd Revolver

Taurus chambered the large frame Raging Hunter in 350 Legend, and this 10.5" version is the handier of the two barrel lengths offered. The straight walled cartridge was built for hunters in regions that restrict bottleneck rifle rounds, and out of a barrel this long it reaches well past what most handgun hunters get from a 357. The angular barrel shroud trims weight off the front end, while porting and a gas expansion chamber knock the muzzle back down between shots. A picatinny rail runs along the top of the shroud, so a red dot or a pistol scope mounts without a gunsmith.

Under the shroud, the frame and cylinder are stainless steel finished in matte black, and the cushioned insert grips absorb what the porting leaves behind. Six rounds, an exposed hammer for deliberate single action shots at game, and a transfer bar safety round out the package. This is a hunting handgun before anything else: heavy enough to hold steady off shooting sticks, short enough to ride in a chest rig all day, and chambered for a cartridge that has become a favorite in straight walled deer country.
