Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad Kit S&W M&P 9/40 +5/6

Taran Tactical’s Firepower base pad turns a full size M&P magazine into a competition length stick. In 9mm it adds six rounds, in 40 S&W it adds five, and the extra mass down at the floorplate helps an empty magazine drop clear on a reload instead of hanging up in the well.

The pad is machined from billet aluminum and anodized. A push pin holds it to the magazine body, so installing it or pulling it back apart takes no special tools. The kit also includes a replacement magazine spring sized for the added length, which is the part people forget when they buy a base pad on its own.
