Talley 3/8" Dovetail Rimfire Scope Rings 1" Low

Most rimfire rifles skip a scope base entirely and machine a 3/8 inch dovetail groove straight into the top of the receiver. Rings for that groove clamp into the dovetail directly, and rings built for Weaver or Picatinny slots will not sit in it. These Talley rings are cut for the 3/8 inch dovetail and hold a 1 inch scope tube.

Low height keeps the scope down against the receiver, which is what most rimfire shooters want since rimfire scopes rarely carry an objective bell big enough to need clearance. The closer the optic sits to the bore, the less the holdover changes across the short distances a rimfire actually gets shot at, and the more natural the cheek weld ends up on a sporter stock. Before ordering, look at your receiver and confirm it has the dovetail groove rather than a rail, because the two are not interchangeable.
