About the Sylvan Arms 300 BLK
Sylvan Arms built this one specifically for 300 Blackout and says so plainly: it is approved for 300 BLK and is not rated for long action or magnum cartridges. Staying inside one cartridge lets the design get short and light instead of over building for pressure it will never see. At 6.5 inches and 11.9 ounces it does not add much to the front of an already short 300 BLK gun.
The tube is titanium with a matte black Cerakote finish. Inside, the blast chamber and blast baffle are stainless steel where the abuse happens, and the rest of the baffle stack is titanium cone baffles. It comes with a stainless flash hider that threads 5/8-24, and the can locks onto it with a timed ratchet style system, so it goes on and comes off without tools and indexes the same way every time. Sylvan does not rate this can for full auto fire.
