SureFire SFMB Muzzle Brake 6mm 5/8-24

The SFMB sends gas out and forward instead of straight back at the shooter. SureFire calls the port geometry Impulse Diffusion, and the practical result is a rifle that tracks back in a line rather than climbing, with less of the side blast that makes a brake unpopular on a crowded firing line. The second shot comes faster because the sight never leaves the target.

The body is machined from heat treated stainless steel bar stock and DLC coated, and the threads are single point cut so the brake squares up against the shoulder. Labyrinth seals keep carbon from welding it to the barrel, which is what turns a brake into a permanent fixture on a hard used rifle. Like the rest of the SOCOM series hardware, it also serves as a mount for SureFire Fast-Attach suppressors. Bored for 6mm on 5/8-24 threads.
