Stroup Knives 3.5" OD Green Tanto Knife

The tanto point is the difference on this one. Stroup lists it at 3.5 inches in OD Green over black, with the angled, reinforced tip that a tanto grind is bought for.

A tanto trades a little slicing ability for strength at the point, which is why the shape shows up on knives meant to pierce, pry and take abuse rather than fillet dinner. The OD Green and black pairing keeps the look subdued, and at 3.5 inches it is still a size that gets carried instead of left in a drawer.
