About the Specters Cat Dirty Dave
This is the hub build of the Specters Cat Dirty Dave, the first can in their Recce line. The rear of the tube uses the common hub pattern, which hands the mounting decision back to the shooter. Adapters thread in, so the same can runs direct thread on a bolt gun one weekend and a brand specific quick detach mount on a carbine the next, without buying a second suppressor to do it.
Underneath the mounting choice the Dirty Dave is still a 7.62x51 can. Specters Cat built it against what they call the Big Five: sound, flash, flow, blast and durability, with M80 ball as the working benchmark. Bore is 30 caliber, the rating is 7.62 NATO and the finish is black. The company also notes this is not a short K style can, so expect a full length 30 caliber suppressor rather than a stubby one.
