About the Sons of Liberty Gun

Sons of Liberty treats the bolt carrier group as the heart of an AR. Locking, unlocking, extraction and ejection all happen around it, so the cycle of operations lives or dies on this part. This is the 5.56 group with a phosphate finish.

The carrier is cut on the full auto profile and the bolt is test fired at assembly. It comes with the OCKS upgrade, Sons of Liberty's optimized carrier key screws. Beyond 5.56 NATO it also runs 300 Blackout, 6mm Max and 350 Legend, so one carrier group covers several uppers if you swap barrels.
