Sons of Liberty Gun Works Maritime 10 Position Intermediate Buffer Tube

This is Sons of Liberty's intermediate length receiver extension, cut with ten positions instead of the usual six. The extra stops give finer length of pull adjustment, which matters when the same rifle gets run with a plate carrier, a heavy jacket, and shirt sleeves across a year.

Maritime refers to the drain holes cut through the tube. Water that gets into a sealed buffer tube stays there, and a tube holding water changes how the buffer moves. Drilled tubes dump it. The intermediate length runs an A5 buffer and spring, and it needs them - a standard carbine buffer and spring will not cycle right in this tube. The longer stroke takes some of the harshness out of a carbine gas system. Aluminum construction with a matte black finish.
