About the SOG Diverge AU 3"
The Diverge AU is the push button automatic version of SOG's Diverge folder. Press the button and the 3 inch drop point blade swings out the side and locks, which gives you one hand opening from either side with no thumb stud to find. The blade carries a black coating over tool steel, so it holds an edge through more than cardboard and rope.
The handle is machined aluminum, anodized black, with a reversible stainless clip for tip up carry in either pocket. Open length is 7.25 inches and the knife weighs under 3 ounces, so it rides like a normal work folder instead of a brick.
