Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 380 ACP 2.75" 12rd RFX1 Thumb Safety Pistol

Smith & Wesson rebuilt the pocket 380 rather than warming it over. The original Bodyguard was small, snappy and hard to shoot well, with a long heavy trigger that fought the shooter the whole way through the stroke. The 2.0 is striker fired with a flat face trigger, carries 12 rounds instead of six, and wears a reworked grip that finally gives a hand something to hold. It is still small enough to disappear in a pocket holster, but it runs like a real pistol now instead of a compromise you put up with.

This version comes with the Viridian RFX1 green dot mounted at the factory. The optic was built specifically for the Bodyguard 2.0, so it sits directly on the slide with no adapter plate and no milling, and it does not add the height that would ruin the pistol's profile inside a waistband. Green is easier for most eyes to pick up in daylight than red. A manual thumb safety is fitted for shooters who want one, the magazine release is reversible for left hand shooters, and both a 10 round and a 12 round magazine are in the box. The 2.75" barrel keeps overall length short without making the gun unpleasant to shoot.
