Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 380 ACP 2.75" 10rd Thumb Safety RFX1 Pistol

This is the thumb safety version of the Bodyguard 2.0 with the Viridian RFX1 already on the slide. The safety is a small frame mounted lever, easy to sweep off on the draw and easy to leave alone for anyone who would rather carry without it. Everything else is standard Bodyguard 2.0: a 2.75" stainless barrel under an Armornite finish, a striker fired action with a flat face trigger, a reversible magazine release, and a grip texture that holds on without chewing up a cover garment.

The optic is the headline. Viridian built the RFX1 specifically for this slide, so it sits flat with no plate and no milling, and the green 3 MOA dot is low enough to be found quickly as the gun comes up. Green is easier for most eyes to pick up than red at the same brightness level. The housing is aluminum, shockproof and water resistant. Two 10 round magazines come with the pistol, both flush fitting, which keeps the grip short and the printing minimal for pocket or waistband carry. For a 380 this small, having a real optic and a manual safety in the same package is unusual.
