Smith & Wesson America 250 3" Folding Knife

Smith & Wesson built the America 250 for the country's 250th birthday and put the theme where you can see it. The stainless handle is laser etched with the flag, and the blade carries the America 250 logo cut into the steel rather than printed on top of it. It is a one time run, so it will land in a lot of collections rather than a lot of pockets.

Under the commemorative dress it is a working folder. The Wharncliffe blade runs a straight edge to a controlled point, which is what you want for boxes, cord and general utility cutting. A finger flipper on bearings opens it quickly, the frame lock holds it there, and a deep carry clip keeps it low.
