Smith & Wesson M&P40 M2.0 Metal 40 S&W 4.22" 10rd Gray Pistol

The M&P M2.0 Metal takes the M2.0 design off its polymer frame and puts it on a lightweight, rigid aluminum frame finished in Tungsten Gray Cerakote. This one is chambered in 40 S&W with a 4.22" stainless barrel in Armornite finish, and it comes with two 10 round magazines.

The slide is cut for optics and wears white dot sights, so you can run irons now and add a red dot later. Everything that made the M2.0 popular is here: the 18 degree grip angle that points naturally, a textured polymer front strap, four interchangeable palmswell inserts (S, M, ML, L), a wide slide stop and a reversible magazine release. The M2.0 flat face trigger with enhanced sear gives a lighter, crisper let off and consistent finger placement. A low bore axis helps keep muzzle rise down, which matters in 40 S&W, and the extra mass of the metal frame soaks up more of the snap than the polymer version. There is no manual thumb safety. A Picatinny style rail handles a light, and the patented takedown lever and sear deactivation let you disassemble it without pulling the trigger. It weighs about 30 oz, a full size duty pistol that feels planted in the hand.
