Sig Sauer ZULU4 HD Marine 12x50mm Binocular Orange

The ZULU4 HD is Sig Sauer's high definition glass in a 12x50 marine configuration. Twelve power is a lot of magnification for a handheld binocular, and the 50mm objectives feed it enough light to stay useful at first light and last light. A reinforced metal housing wrapped in rubber armor takes the knocks that come with boat decks and truck beds, and the IPX7 rating covers submersion, not just rain.

The focus wheel was redesigned on this generation. Orange bodywork is the practical part of a marine binocular: it is easy to spot on a deck or in a bag, and the included floating neck strap keeps the pair on the surface if it goes over the side. A molded EVA carry case plus objective and eyepiece covers come with it, so the glass stays protected between uses.
