The Sig Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake is a compact, suppressor-ready rifle in the MCX family that brings the 300 AAC Blackout cartridge into a race-ready, short-barrel platform with a 5.50" barrel, 30+1 capacity, and a coyote Cerakote E190 finished upper and lower for corrosion resistance in the field. Built for operators, hunters who favor suppressed short-barrel performance, and serious range shooters, this semi-auto platform ships with an SD handguard and a factory-installed inert training device (no brace) that mimics the SIGSRD762 suppressor's size and weight so the rifle is usable during NFA processing and assures muzzle flash is clear of the support hand; when paperwork is complete you simply unthread the inert device, fit your can, and set the adjustable gas block to tune function for supersonic or subsonic loads. The MCX Rattler includes a two-stage flat-blade match trigger, optic-ready top rail for red dots or low-power variable optics, black polymer furniture, an overall length of about 29.25", and a 6.50 lb weight for controllable handling in close quarters or brush.
