The Sig Sauer M400 Tread is a direct impingement AR platform rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16 inch barrel and a 30 round PMAG. This configuration ships as a complete ready to run package with the Romeo5 red dot sight and Juliet2 3x magnifier pre paired, giving shooters a precision optic setup out of the box without the cost or mounting hassle of pairing components separately.
The Tread uses a mid length gas system, a free floating M-LOK handguard, and Sig's flat faced Matchlite Duo trigger to make the rifle flatter shooting and more consistent than a baseline mil-spec AR. A 15 inch M-LOK rail gives room for lights, sling mounts, and hand stops, while the ambidextrous QD sling mount and SB15 style stock round out the build. The included Romeo5 runs on a single CR2032 and boasts MOTAC shake awake to conserve battery, and the Juliet2 flips out of the way when shots close in and back in line for longer range identification.
