The Sig Sauer CROSS is a bolt action precision rifle built on a lightweight aluminum chassis with a folding stock. The 16 inch barrel in 308 Winchester keeps the overall length short for field use while still delivering the velocity this caliber needs. A two stage match trigger with a curved blade breaks clean. The Sig Precision adjustable folding stock locks up solid in the open position and folds to cut overall length nearly in half for packing in and out of the field.
The CROSS was designed from the ground up as a hunting and precision chassis rifle that does not weigh you down on the mountain. The free float M-LOK handguard runs the full length for bipod and accessory mounting. Standard AICS pattern detachable magazines mean easy sourcing of spares. The bolt throws smooth with 60 degree throw for fast cycling. Whether it is a backcountry hunt or a precision range session, the CROSS handles 308 Winchester recoil well for its weight class and puts rounds where you point it. The black anodized finish is durable and low profile.
