Seekins Precision Havak M3 Magnum Bolt Head

The magnum bolt head for Seekins' Havak M3 action, cut with a .540 inch bolt face for the magnum cartridges: 6.5 PRC, 7mm PRC, 300 PRC, 300 Win Mag and the rest of the belted and beltless magnum family that shares that head size.

The M3 generation uses a three lug head that comes out without tools, so changing bolt face size is a bench job rather than a gunsmith job. Fit the barrel and magazine for the new chambering, drop in the matching head, and the action carries over. The head is tool steel with a black oxide coating, built harder than the rest of the bolt because it takes the full load of firing.
