Seekins Precision Havak Element M3 25 Creedmoor 20" Woodland Rifle

Seekins built the original Havak Element around a hybrid aluminum and steel action, and the M3 refines it. The three lug bolt and 60 degree throw keep the handle away from the ocular bell of a big scope, and the short lift makes a follow up shot quick from a bipod or off a pack. A Quick Change Barrel Collar lets the barrel come off without a vise and a set of action wrenches, and the bolt drops out for cleaning without tools. This is the kind of hardware somebody notices after a few real days on a mountain.

The stock is Seekins' own, with an adjustable cheekpiece to get your eye centered behind whatever optic you hang on it and a full length M-LOK forend for bipods, tripod adapters and sling swivels. This rifle wears the Woodland pattern over a 20 inch barrel chambered in 25 Creedmoor, a quarter bore cartridge that throws heavy for caliber bullets with mild recoil, which is why western hunters have taken to it so quickly. Light enough to carry all day, steady enough to shoot at distance, and short enough in the barrel to stay out of the way in timber.
