Savage, Axis 2 Xp, 30-06 Springfield, 22 inch Barrel, 4+1 Capacity, Gray

The Savage Axis 2 XP rifle in 30-06 Springfield brings the AXIS series' reputation for out-of-the-box accuracy to a hunter-friendly package with a 22-inch sporter barrel, 1:10 twist and a carbon steel receiver that yields a 7.70 lb, 42.5-inch overall-length platform well-suited to long days in the field or precise range work. The redesigned AXIS 2 XP features an ergonomic fixed gray stock with enhanced texturing and ambidextrous palm swells on the pistol grip for confident control, an updated bolt handle for reliable manipulation in rain or cold, and user-adjustable AccuTrigger for shooter-tuned pull weight and consistent, tack-driving shots. Factory-mounted and boresighted, the 3-9x40 scope with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation lets you get on target quickly for deer, elk, or longer shots while the detachable box magazine holds a 4+1 capacity for straightforward loading and unloaded carry. Thread-in headspacing and Savage's build quality deliver repeatable chambering and accuracy that matter when glassing and stalking, and as a bolt-action firearm made in the United States it requires transfer through an FFL. This AXIS 2 XP right-hand model is an economical, reliable choice for hunters and shooters who want a ready-to-hunt 30-06 Springfield rifle.
