Savage Arms Axis 2 XP 6.5 CM 20" 4rd OD Green 3-9x40 Scope Rifle

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, this Axis 2 XP runs a 20" matte black carbon steel barrel that comes threaded from the factory, with a drilled and tapped receiver above it. The 3-9x40 scope is mounted and bore sighted before the rifle leaves the plant, and its lenses are fully coated with toolless windage and elevation turrets, so the first range trip is a zero confirmation instead of a build day.

A 6.5 Creedmoor in a 20" barrel keeps the rifle short enough to handle in timber and off a truck seat. The 4rd magazine is a detachable box. Savage's user adjustable AccuTrigger sets the break where the shooter wants it, and the OD Green synthetic stock carries a contoured pistol grip, ambidextrous palm swells and extra texturing where the hands land. Length of pull adjusts, so the same rifle fits a shooter in a t shirt in September and a heavy coat in December.
