Savage Arms Axis 2 XP 30-06 Sprg 4rd OD Green 3-9x40 Scope Rifle

This Axis 2 XP is chambered in 30-06 Sprg, the cartridge that has been putting meat in freezers for more than a century, and it comes with the glass already handled. The 3-9x40 scope is mounted and bore sighted at the factory on a drilled and tapped receiver, with fully coated lenses and toolless windage and elevation adjustments. The barrel is matte black carbon steel and threaded at the muzzle.

Savage put the work into the parts that matter on a rifle at this level. The AccuTrigger is user adjustable, so the break can be tuned down from a factory setting instead of tolerated. The 4rd magazine is a detachable box, which beats a hinged floorplate when it is time to unload in the truck. The OD Green synthetic stock uses a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and enhanced texturing, and the length of pull adjusts, so the same rifle can be set up for a smaller shooter and then let back out again.
