Savage Arms 220 Harvester Woodland 20 GA 22" 2rd Camo Shotgun

The 220 is Savage's dedicated 20 gauge slug gun, and the Harvester Woodland is the version dressed for the timber. It runs a bolt action instead of a break open or a pump, which is why it shoots so much tighter than a typical slug barrel: the action locks up like a rifle, the barrel is left to do its job, and a 2 round detachable box magazine feeds from below. Barrel length is 22", short enough to swing in a blind or a tight stand without fighting the walls.

The headline change on this model is the AccuStock with AccuFit V2. Length of pull and comb height adjust without tools, so the same gun fits a shooter buried in a November coat and a smaller framed shooter in October. M-LOK panels let you hang a sling swivel or a bipod where it makes sense, and the interchangeable grip modules change the grip angle to suit your hand. The stock wears Savage Woodland camo over a black barreled action. Sabot slugs from this platform hold minute of deer well past 150 yards, and a stock that actually fits the shooter is what lets a hunter use that range in the field.
