Stevens 555 Sporting 410 Bore 28" Shotgun

The Stevens 555 Sporting brings a sporting clays feature set to the little 410 Bore. It runs 28" chrome lined barrels with 3" chambers, ported to cut muzzle jump, under a raised ventilated rib with a mid bead and a fiber optic front sight. The longer barrels give a smooth, steady swing on crossing targets, and five extended choke tubes are included: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified and Full, in the Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern.

The receiver is lightweight aluminum alloy scaled to the gauge, with a steel insert that reinforces the breech, and it wears an engraved silver finish. The Turkish walnut stock and forend are checkered, and the adjustable comb lets you set your cheek height so your eye sits right on the rib. Length of pull is 14.5". A single selective mechanical trigger lets you choose which barrel fires first, the safety is mounted on the tang, and manual extractors make it easy to pick up your hulls. It is a light, low recoil gun for skeet, sub gauge clays practice, or teaching a new shooter to break targets.
