Savage 18880 555 Sporting Compact 20 Gauge 26 inch 2 Round Silver Engraved Brown Walnut

The Savage Arms 18880 555 Sporting Compact is a 20 gauge over/under built for competitive shooters and serious upland hunters who value balance, low weight and dependable function, and the Stevens over/under series background shows through in its sport-minded design; its 26" ported over/under vent rib barrel with raised ventilated rib, mid-bead and fiber optic front sight lends quick target acquisition for sporting clays and trap lanes while recoil reducing ports and a scaled aluminum alloy receiver with steel breech insert minimize weight (5.20 lbs) without sacrificing strength. The engraved silver aluminum receiver and oiled Turkish walnut adjustable cheekstock deliver traditional looks and an adjustable cheek riser brings the stock to any eye plane, making this ambidextrous, break-open shotgun comfortable for left- or right-handed shooters; the 3" chamber and two-round capacity accept modern loads and the included Benelli Mobil choke set (C, F, IC, IM, M) covers close to long targets. At 42.25" OAL with a tang safety and engraved aesthetics, this compact sporting model is a strong choice for league shooters, coaches and seasoned hunters who need a light, tunable over/under that requires FFL transfer and is optimized for clay shooting, trap practice and field use.
