Savage 110 Carbon Hunter 6.5 PRC 20" Flat Dark Gray Rifle

This is the 6.5 PRC build of the 110 Carbon Hunter, and it gets a 20" barrel rather than the 18" tube the smaller cartridges run - a sensible call, because PRC cases burn a lot of powder and want some barrel to do it in. The barrel is carbon fiber with a threaded muzzle, which is how a magnum hunting rifle ends up light enough to actually carry. The action is Cerakoted, the bolt body is jeweled, and a one piece 0 MOA rail comes installed for the scope this cartridge deserves.

The 110 Trophy stock is Flat Dark Gray and adjusts for length of pull, with a LimbSaver recoil pad at the back doing real work behind a 6.5 PRC. The AccuTrigger is user adjustable and breaks clean, which matters when the shot is long enough that trigger control is the whole game. Feeding is from a detachable box magazine. 6.5 PRC is a flat shooting, wind cutting cartridge that hits well past where most people are willing to shoot at game, and putting it in a rifle this light means it gets carried up the mountain instead of admired in the safe.
