Ruko Muskrat 2 Blade Pakkawood Folding Pocket Knife

The muskrat is a traditional two blade pattern with a matched pair of clip blades, one at each end of the handle. Trappers carried it so a dulled edge could be swapped for a fresh one without stopping to sharpen, and the same logic works fine on a workbench or in a truck today.

Handle scales are Pakkawood, a resin impregnated hardwood that keeps the grain and warmth of wood but shrugs off moisture instead of swelling and splitting. The blades are stainless, and they take a working edge off a basic stone and come back quickly when they dull. Closed length is 2-3/4", so it disappears in a front pocket.
