Ruko Carbide and Ceramic Rod Knife Sharpener

Two sharpening surfaces in one tool. The carbide blades take metal off an edge that has gone dull enough that a rod alone is not going to fix it, and the ceramic rod follows with a lighter cut that cleans the edge up. A few pulls through each side is usually all a working knife needs.

It is small enough to live in a tackle box, a range bag or a kitchen drawer, which matters more than it sounds: a sharpener that stays in the garage is a sharpener nobody uses.
