Ruger Super Redhawk 454 Casull 5" 6rd Stainless Revolver

The Ruger Super Redhawk is built for the biggest handgun hunting cartridges, and model 5517 is the TALO exclusive version in 454 Casull with a 5" barrel. The extended frame has extra metal in the top strap, sidewalls and barrel mounting area to handle heavy loads, and the triple locking cylinder locks into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for solid alignment shot after shot. The six shot cylinder also accepts standard 45 Colt cartridges, so you can practice with milder ammunition.

Construction is satin stainless steel throughout for corrosion resistance in wet country. The Hogue Tamer Monogrip has an internal cushion under the web of the hand to soften recoil, and the peg style grip frame accepts custom grips. Sights are a replaceable red ramp front and an adjustable rear, and integral scope mounts machined into the barrel rib take the included scope rings with no separate base to work loose. It fires double action or single action, and a transfer bar mechanism adds security against accidental discharge. The cold hammer forged barrel gives precise rifling and long life. At 48.7 oz it has the heft a 454 needs, and the 5" barrel keeps it handy enough to carry in a chest holster on a long hunt.
