Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical 22 LR 4.4" 10rd Pistol

The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical is a 22 LR target pistol set up for a suppressor, an optic and a light. The 4.4 inch steel barrel is threaded 1/2-28, a Picatinny rail sits on top for a red dot or scope, and a second rail underneath takes a light or laser. The blued steel upper rides on a black polymer grip frame with checkered 1911 style panels, so the grip angle and feel match a 1911. Sights are a fixed front and an adjustable rear. Two 10 round magazines come in the box.

The big change on the Mark IV is the one button takedown. Press the recessed button at the back of the frame and the upper tilts up and off without tools, the bolt slides out, and the barrel can be cleaned from chamber to muzzle. The internal cylindrical bolt keeps the sights fixed to the barrel for consistent accuracy. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety that can be set to left side only with the included washer, a push button magazine release, an ergonomic bolt stop and a magazine disconnect. It weighs 33.3 oz and runs 8.5 inches overall. Good for plinking, training new shooters and suppressed range days.
