The Ruger LC Carbine in 5.7x28mm brings the FN-developed high-velocity cartridge to a compact, capacity-compliant carbine. The 16.25" threaded barrel accepts suppressors and muzzle devices, and the reversible side-folding adjustable stock drops the overall length for storage and transport. Weighing under 6 pounds, the LC Carbine is easier to shoulder for new shooters and long range sessions than a full-size rifle while still reaching past what a pistol can do.
5.7x28mm pushes a light bullet at very high velocity, producing flat trajectory and modest recoil. The LC Carbine uses an AR-style grip and safety, and the trigger is reasonable out of the box with the option to swap in aftermarket units. Optics mount on the factory rail, and M-LOK slots on the handguard accept lights, bipods, and hand stops. The 10-round magazine keeps this version compliant with capacity-restricted jurisdictions.
