The Ruger LC Carbine takes Ruger's 5.7 pistol magazine and builds a pistol caliber carbine around it with a bolt over barrel layout that puts the magazine in the grip. The result is a lightweight sub-6 pound carbine that points naturally and balances well in close quarters. This state compliant configuration runs a non-threaded 16.25" fluted nitride treated steel barrel, a fixed stock, and a 10 round magazine for jurisdictions that restrict folding stocks or higher capacity feed devices.
The CNC milled aluminum handguard has M-LOK slots for lights, lasers, and rail accessories, plus multiple QD sling sockets. Iron sights are Ruger Rapid Deploy folders adjustable for windage and elevation, and a full length Picatinny rail on top takes any optic you want to mount. The Secure Action fire control pairs a protected internal hammer with a bladed safety trigger — clean break, short reset. 1911 style ambidextrous manual safety, reversible charging handle, and ambi magazine button round out the controls. 5.7x28mm gives flat shooting ballistics and mild recoil with affordable practice ammo.
