Ruger American Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 5rd Gray Magpul Rifle

The Ruger American Rifle Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor is built for longer shots in the field. It sits in a gray Magpul Hunter American short action stock with adjustable length of pull (spacers included) and an adjustable comb height, so it can be fitted to the shooter and the optic. The 20" heavy contour barrel is threaded 5/8-24 and wears a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake that cuts recoil while keeping blast away from the shooter's sides.

It feeds from a 5 round Magpul PMAG 5 7.62 AC detachable magazine. The one piece three lug bolt has a 70 degree throw for plenty of scope clearance, and its full diameter body with dual cocking cams cycles smoothly from the shoulder. A factory installed one piece Picatinny base is ready for rings. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger lets you set the pull to taste, and a tang safety sits where your thumb falls. At 9.2 lbs it is heavier than a typical sporter, and that weight plus the brake makes it calm to shoot from a bench or a pack. Ruger rates it for minute of angle accuracy.
