The Ruger American Rifle Generation II stock sets length of pull with spacers, and the rifle comes with a 13.75" spacer installed. This kit adds two shorter spacers for a 12.75" or 13.25" length of pull.
Only one spacer is used at a time; they do not stack. To swap, loosen the recoil pad assembly with a 3/16" hex wrench and a 7/16" socket or wrench. A 1/8" hex wrench, not included, loosens the rear swivel stud.
