Ruger Mark IV Hunter 22 LR 6.88" 10rd Stainless Pistol

The Mark IV Hunter is the long barreled field model of Ruger's rimfire pistol line. A 6.88" fluted bull barrel gives it steady weight out front, and the whole gun is satin stainless steel, grip frame included. A fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight are easy to pick up against brush or a target backer, and the receiver is drilled and tapped if you would rather run an optic. Checkered laminate grip panels give a sure hold, and two 10 round magazines are included.

The big Mark IV improvement is takedown. Press a recessed button at the back of the frame and the barrel and receiver tilt up and off the grip frame without tools, so you can clean from the chamber to the muzzle. The internal cylindrical bolt keeps the sights fixed to the barrel instead of riding on a moving slide, which is part of why these pistols shoot so well. The ambidextrous manual safety can be set to left side only with the included washer, and the magazine drops free on release. At 44 ounces it hangs steady for small game and bullseye work.
