Ruger 10/22 Sporter Grizzly Engraved 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Rifle

This TALO edition 10/22 Sporter is all about the stock. It is an Altamont natural laminate with a grizzly bear scene engraved into it, set against a blued 18.5" barrel and receiver. Laminate is stable in wet weather and tough to ding, and the engraving turns a working rimfire into something you will want to keep in the family. A gold bead front sight and adjustable rear sight are ready to go, and a scope base adapter is included for mounting an optic.

Mechanically it is the 10/22 that millions of shooters already know. The detachable 10 round rotary magazine feeds 22 LR reliably. The magazine release is easy to reach, and the cross bolt safety is simple to teach to new shooters. Because it uses standard 10/22 internals, the huge aftermarket for triggers, barrels and magazines still applies. At about 5 pounds it carries easily on a squirrel hunt and is light enough for younger shooters at the range. It also makes a good gift rifle for a first time owner.
