Ruger 10/22 Sporter 75th Anniversary 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Rifle

Ruger built this 10/22 Sporter to mark the company's 75th year. The bolt carries a laser engraved 75th Anniversary logo, the rifle comes in a throwback printed box, and a 75th Anniversary decal is in with it. Underneath the commemorative touches it is a standard Sporter: a natural finish hardwood stock with black checkering, sling swivels and a buttplate, wrapped around the classic 10/22 action with a satin black finish on the metal.

The 18.5" cold hammer forged barrel locks into the receiver with Ruger's two screw V block, and the twist is 1:16". It feeds from the flush 10 round rotary magazine, whose rotor separates the cartridges so they feed cleanly, and the prominent magazine release makes swaps easy. A cross bolt safety sits ahead of the trigger. Sights are a gold bead front and an adjustable rear, and a combination scope base adapter is included that fits Weaver style and 22 tip off mounts. At 5.4 lbs and 37" overall it is a light, handy rimfire for small game, the range or a first rifle, and the anniversary markings make it worth keeping in the box for the collector in the family.
